- Pumice stone : Rub a pumice stone gently on the bumps when you go to bath. This helps to exfoliate the skin making the bumps appear less prominent. Invest in the best quality pumice stone. Then use it to rub the entire skin. This is a remedy that has been used since ancient times for treating this condition.
- Loofah : Use a loofah everyday. Loofah is a scrubbing sponge which also helps in exfoliating the skin. It therefore helps in getting dead cells of the skin out of the body and this way it makes the keratosis pilaris bumps look less pronounced.
- Sour cream : Apply sour cream on the bumps before sleeping at night. Keep it on for the whole night and wash it off in the morning. Sour cream contains a high percentage of lactic acid which is really helpful in diminishing the bumps of keratosis pilaris.
