- Almond scrub : It is more of a face mask than a scrub. Grind some almonds along with the peel. Apply this on the face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then wash it off with warm or hot water, carefully avoiding the eyes.
- Walnut scrub : Take the walnut, grind it, add some water and apply it on the skin. It extracts oiliness on the skin in a few minutes. Then wash it off with plain water.
- Pistachio shells : This is a wonderful remedy for exfoliating the skin. Eat some pistachios. Keep their shells. Clean them and then crush them. Turn into fine paste. Then soak in water. Crush again and this time add a little honey. Apply this to the face and anywhere on the skin which is oily. Gently massage the pistachio shells into the skin. It takes away dead skin cells ( a process known as exfoliating ) and also the oiliness on skin.
- Skin clay : There are many types of fine clay in the world which can be applied on the skin, like bentonite clay. Every clay has high permeability through very fine particles and pores in them. It drags out moisture, dirt and toxins from the skin.
