These were some simple remedies for insomnia. For people with chronic insomnia, more powerful remedies may be needed.
- Chamomile tea : Chamomile is known to soothe and relax the body to a great extent. Drink just 1 cup of chamomile tea and let the effect start. - Holy basil tea : This is an Ancient Indian remedy for insomnia. A herbal tea made with holy basil leaves has a wonderful aroma but it may be bitter to taste. So, make sure to add some cinnamon ( for sweetness ) and some green tea as a buffer for the bitter taste. Even the aroma of holy basil leaves is powerful to induce sleep.
Watch a boring thing : This is an intuitive strategy to induce sleep. Lie down in the covers and then watch something really boring on the TV or laptop. This can make one sleep really fast. Insomnia can be managed by improving the lifestyle and routine.
